Tip # 1
Stop focusing on weight and start living!
The stress associated with worrying about our appearance is contributing to the problem. The solution is to eat right to begin with; not what we were taught in school, but what our special body needs demand!
Once we know the truth, it seems so obvious that we wonder how we could ever have been duped before. There are so many empty promises out there. Most diet plans are designed to get us hooked on a costly maintenance plan. Then the stress sets in. What fun is that?
Once we learn the truth, it is like becoming free again; NO STRESS about eating, More
ENERGY to go out and have fun, a chance to get our Life Back!
Tip # 2
Don't Starve Yourself - It Will Backfire!
Going to bed hungry is actually one of the WORST THINGS YOU CAN DO.
You WON'T lose weight fast and keep it off by just eating low carb diets, low fat diets, or low calorie diets. The truth is, fast weight loss that lasts comes down to a diet that works, but that is also right for you!
Those long and frequent cardio or aerobic workouts from quick weight loss programs are among the worst ways to burn fat.
Raising our metabolism automatically burns calories, and there are less painful ways to do that! The trick is more about when we eat, than what we eat ... so long as we maintain a balanced diet.
Tip # 3
Don't count calories, Eat better snacks!
When trying to lose weight, it only seems natural to start counting calories.
Unfortunately, when we don't eat enough, our body double-crosses us. When our body feels like it is starving, it goes into survival mode.
When in survival mode, the body automatically lowers our body's metabolism and starts
storing fat as a safeguard against starvation.
For this reason, weight loss that results from many diet related programs often finds its way back into our lives ... almost immediately after our 'successful' diet.
It is also frustrating that our bodies usually lose our muscle weight before noticing our extra fat cells. Try to figure!
Then to complicate matters, some of the other side effects of restrictive dieting include: depression, frustration, reduced sex drive, irritability, fatigue, and a host of other less than desirable conditions.
When all the time, what we are really trying to do is get our life back.
By snacking on fruits and vegetables instead of processed carbs, we don't gain the weight, and we don't feel hungry all the time! And as long fifty percent of what's on our plate is made up of a variety of vegetables, we can stabilize to our natural healthiest weight as well.
